The life of faith is not a life of failures, but a life of trial and triumphs by and through the power of the Spirit of God. It is not a life of mounting up with wings, but a life of walking with God and not fainting in our efforts to carry out the service of God. Faith is measured not by the fact that you have not gone back as failure is measure by God having not arrived, yet. Both are measured by the level of insight that you have into where you are spiritually.
Jesus devoted thirty-three years of His life to obeying the will of his Father who sent him, every moment was spent in full confidence that God was with him. The apostle Paul teaches us that “the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). This faith is not Paul’s faith in Jesus Christ, but the faith that the Son of God has imparted to him—“the faith of the Son of God.” It is no longer faith in faith, but faith which surpasses all conscious limits, the same faith of the Son of God. In our daily lives we must live by faith in God and him alone.
Faith is not in what God says but in Himself; if we only look at what He says we shall never believe. The Lord says; “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee; I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee” (Joshua 1:5). Too many Christians will not believe, we prefer to continue to worry. Stop trying to figure out how God is going to do things and let Him do it. God cannot fail and if we would only trust and believe He will prove that He does not want us to fail either.
Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and trusts the One who is leading. God has never failed and He has not failed you, yet. Be blessed and bless someone in Jesus’ name. Blessing, glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor, power and might be to our God, forever and ever. Amen.
