Preaching the Cross

Even today, many have seen the cross and profess a belief in its power, but not all have come to the cross. When you come to the cross, it is a profound experience that transforms people’s lives forever. No experience equals no change. Webster, the dictionary guy, defines transformation as a verb; a thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance. If you can change what you believe, you can change what you do. The cross, changes us and others, but you must come to it , it will not come to you.

Erroneously, there are those individuals that are thoroughly convinced that they have time and will be given a second chance, and it may be true. Consider what every gambler knows, as long as you think you have another chance, you’re willing to take a chance. Fortunes have been lost, marriages broken and lives ruined behind this notion. From God’s perspective, I believe that He gives us another chance every day, and it is up to us to take that chance and exercise it or lose to apathy or disbelief.

Satan, the greatest gambler of all times, took a chance and loss. God did not give him a second chance! His willingness to gamble and bet against God cost him his position in the heavenly places. He and every angels that placed their bets with him loss, and got the boot out of heaven, never to enter again. However, Satan has an advantage in defeat, that none of can boast of, he has been to heaven, spent time in the presence of the Almighty God and worshiped at His feet. We are trying to get to heaven, to stand ing the presence of the Almighty and worship at the foot of His throne!

In this place, The Third Congregation of Jesus Our Christ, we honor, glory and worship Jehovah El-Shaddai, The Almighty God, in spirit and in truth. To get to heaven we are willing to be  led by the Spirit of God and the lessons of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.
